An Epic Morning of Running, Community & Celebrating Wins
You know those days that just fill you up in the best way? This was one of them. We love finding ways to bring women together—outside of work, family, and all the usual responsibilities—just to move, connect, and exist in a space that feels good. That’s why we team up with local businesses around Asheville to create that third place where we can show up, push ourselves a little (or a lot), and then just hang out. And if that turns into some post-run shopping? Even better.
On this particular morning, nearly 100 women met up in Biltmore Village, laced up their shoes, and took on the rolling hills of Biltmore Forest. Some ran five miles, others went for ten, and a few even crushed their longest distance ever. And let me tell you—those hills did not play. But no one ran alone. There was something about the way we all moved together, some pushing hard at a seven-minute pace, others steady at 14, but every single one of us feeling that same mix of struggle and joy. The high-fives, the deep breaths at the stoplights, the shared looks of Yep, that was brutal—it was everything that makes running more than just running.
And then, we celebrated. Lululemon welcomed us in before the store even opened, giving us a private shopping event with a special discount. The best part? Watching women treat themselves not just to new gear, but to the feeling that they deserved it. Before the doors even opened to the public, we had already hit $10,000 in sales, but it wasn’t just about that—it was about the laughter, the watermelon slices, the coffee-fueled debriefs of how those hills nearly killed us. It was about the woman who was visiting from Chicago, saw the event online, and just showed up—because this community? It’s magnetic.
The miles were great, but what made the day unforgettable was us. Women from all walks of life, all speeds, all backgrounds, showing up for themselves and each other. That’s what this whole thing is about. If you’ve ever thought about joining, just come. No pressure, no expectations—just a space where you’re welcome exactly as you are. We’re out here every Wednesday, and we’d love to see you.
